Why Introduce Lean Six Sigma?
We have yet to come across an organisation that wouldn’t benefit from reducing waste and improving how day-to-day tasks are completed. This is exactly what Lean Six Sigma can do you for your business, even if introduced at the most basic level.
Get Started Immediately
After 3 days of lean six sigma yellow belt training your team will understand the fundamentals of how to identify and eliminate waste, and begin improving processes. There are many practical elements to the training, ensuring more than a merely theoretical knowledge.
Yellow Belt Course Benefits
Here are the main benefits of holding a customised, in-company lean six sigma yellow belt programme in your organisation.
Introduce the Concept of Lean Six Sigma to your Team
To properly implement process improvements, your team needs to understand what lean six sigma is about. This workshop serves as a perfect foundation for learning about lean six sigma and its benefits. Over the course of our 3-day workshop, delegates will get to grips with core elements of lean and six sigma.
Practical Application of Skills
For our Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course we focus very much on the practical application of Lean (reducing waste). Because it is an in-company training programme, we can customise the delivery to apply directly to challenges you face within your organisation, and use examples that relate to the delegates.
You Choose the Date and Venue
Two major advantages of in-company training include date and venue flexibility. You choose the dates that work best for your business calendar, and we’ll come to any location you select for training (some companies prefer to host training on-site, while others choose a nearby hotel or conference centre).
Begin Implementing Improvements Immediately
The primary objective of this course is to give you and your team the skills and confidence to begin implementing positive changes in your working environment straight away. We tailor training to begin identifying areas for improvement, and looking at possible lean approaches to making change.
Ability to Contribute to Green and Black Belt Projects
In larger organisations, there may already be green and black belt projects in progress, and you may have a need for non-green or black belt team members to take on support roles. This yellow belt course is a great way to bring the whole team into the loop on lean six sigma, so that they can contribute positively to higher level projects.
